Privacy
The short version: the QR generator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us, stored by us, or seen by us. The rest of this page is the detail, including the parts that are less flattering.
The generator sends us nothing
Every code is built by JavaScript running on your device. URLs, text, WiFi passwords, contact details, uploaded logos: none of it leaves your browser, because there is no request that carries it. This is not a policy promise we are asking you to trust. Open your browser's network tab while you use the tool and you can watch it not happen.
That includes WiFi passwords, which people paste into QR generators constantly without thinking about where they are going. Here, they go nowhere.
What we do collect
If you join the waitlist
Submitting the form stores your email address, along with:
- Where you came from — the referring site, or a campaign tag if you followed a link we placed. We use this to learn which channels actually work, because otherwise we would be guessing.
- Your country, as reported by Cloudflare. Not your city, not your address.
- Your browser's user-agent string and the time you signed up.
We use this to email you once, when dynamic codes launch. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to anything else. Ask and we will delete it, no reason needed: [email protected].
Visits to this site
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint you or follow you across sites. It tells us page views, referrers and rough geography in aggregate. It cannot tell us who you are, and there is nothing to consent to because nothing is stored on your device.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or heatmaps.
Third parties that see something
Being straight about this, because "we do not track you" is often said by sites that quietly hand your IP address to several companies:
- Cloudflare hosts this site and runs the waitlist. Every request necessarily reaches them, including your IP address. They act as our processor.
That is the complete list. One company, because it is the one serving you this page.
Fonts are served from this domain, not from Google. That was a deliberate change on 7 September 2026: loading them from fonts.gstatic.com would have handed your IP address to Google on every page load, for typefaces.
Cookies
We set none.
The site does use your browser's local storage for one thing: remembering which site referred you, so that if you sign up later we can attribute it correctly. It never leaves your device except as part of a signup you choose to submit, and clearing your site data removes it.
How long we keep things
Waitlist entries are kept until dynamic codes launch and we have emailed you, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first. Analytics are aggregate and retained by Cloudflare on their own schedule; they contain nothing identifying.
Your rights
Email [email protected] and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no verification hoop. In practice the only thing we hold is an email address and how you found us.
Changes
If this page changes materially we will update the date above. If we ever start collecting something new, it will be listed here before it starts, not afterwards.
